Ciao Italia!

Literary trips to the "boot" in the south of Europe are a well-known tradition here in Frankfurt. Goethe sends his regards ;-) Now Italy is coming to us, how amazing.

We are very much looking forward to the Guest of Honour appearance under the slogan "Roots in the future" and are already excited to discover new perspectives on Italy. If you would like to get a sneak preview, we recommend our traditional list of new publications in VLB-TIX.

As always, there are many good reasons to visit us. We discuss current challenges facing the industry in our MVB-Austausch (MVB Exchange). We present award-winning and honoured book people – from the presentation of the Börsenblatt Young Excellence Award and the election of the "Content Start-up of the Year" at our CONTENTshift accelerator to a talk with the person who wrote the best novel of the year. And last but not least, colleagues from all five MVB locations will be availble to provide advice on our services in the German-speaking countries, in Brazil and Mexico, in the USA and in the UK.

LIBRI. LIBRI? LIBRI! – BOOKS. BOOKS? BOOKS!

What could be better than celebrating the world of books together? For example, with a voyage of discovery through Italian literature, which is presenting itself as this year's Guest of Honour at Frankfurter Buchmesse with the slogan "Roots in the Future". Moving images move people: Because they attract attention. This also works in the bookshop. Our new Bewegte Schaufenster offer publishers and booksellers an ideal way to attract more attention at the point of sale (pos). Animated and rolling content is perceived as more valuable and offers more possibilities for staging. And this is now also possible in bookshops. Real eye-catchers, not only for regular customers, but also for potential book buyers.

Facts, fakes and false trails – AI under control?! This is the motto of this year's MVB Data Summit. In 2024, everything at our online conference for successful metadata management will revolve around the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
