Four times a year the trade journal updates antiquarian booksellers, book scientists and all members of the Maximilian-Gesellschaft e. v. . The editorial staff reports on recent developments in the scope of books and book trade histrory, history of literature and culture, bibliography and antiquarian book trade. This information is completed by reviews of specialist literature and a calendar of fairs, auctions and exhibitions. "Aus dem Antiquariat" is the only journal of its kind in the German speaking area. It ist published by the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Antiquariat und Versandbuchhandel" in the "Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels e. V.".
