The Frankfurter Buchmesse Moves Into New Offices

New offices, modern working environments, and greater proximity within the Börsenverein Group

Relocation with added value: Frankfurter Buchmesse moves into new offices

Our colleagues at the Frankfurter Buchmesse have moved within the Haus des Buches building: from the section on Berliner Straße to the section on Braubachstraße, which was previously occupied mainly by MVB. This not only brings us closer together as a group of companies in terms of physical proximity, but also creates a new sense of community that facilitates everyday collaboration and makes spontaneous encounters more likely.

Modern working environments for flexible needs

The new office space of the Frankfurter Buchmesse has been completely redesigned and brought up to the latest standards. Two years ago, we gained experience with an initial renovation on another floor – from room layout and furnishings to technical equipment.

Whether it's bookable desks, flexible meeting rooms, or a phone booth for undisturbed conversations, the rooms are designed to provide a suitable place for every need. This makes the office not just a workplace, but also a space where people enjoy coming together, sharing ideas, and engaging in conversation.

Focus on contact and exchange

Even though the option of working from home on a regular basis is now an integral part of everyday working life, the office still plays a central role: as a place for meeting, creativity, and collaborative work. At the same time, more flexible working models have also changed the amount of space required. The part of the building on Berliner Straße where the Frankfurter Buchmesse was previously located will be leased to third parties in the future – this will enable us to avoid vacancies, use existing resources efficiently, and save costs. The positive effect: the move will bring the teams at the Frankfurter Buchmesse, MVB, and the Börsenverein even closer together.

Another step in the transformation process

With the redesign of our premises, we as a group of companies are continuing to pursue our goal of creating modern and flexible working environments. The aim is to make everyday working life as pleasant as possible for our employees – regardless of whether they are in the office regularly or only drop in from time to time.

The relocation of the Frankfurter Buchmesse is therefore more than just a change of location. It is a symbol of cohesion and future orientation: we are not only growing digitally, but also spatially – and creating working environments in which everyone feels comfortable and enjoys working together.

Farewell to the old premises: the last boxes have been packed, the rooms are empty. What remains are many memories – and anticipation of what will be created on the new floors.

Everything is changing: carpet or parquet flooring—depending on the area, the floor is getting a new look. New walls and rooms are also being created. Step by step, it is becoming clear how the space is evolving into a modern workplace.
